Hi there, I’m Kelly Scanlon - Registered Dietitian with over a decade of nutrition and dietetics experience in both the USA and UK.

I’m passionate about helping people live their best and healthiest lives in a realistic, down to earth way. There’s no one size fits all when it comes to health and I believe it’s important that each of us is able to find the way that works best for us to eat nutritious food, nourish our mind, move our body, and feel good about it all.  

I’m currently back in the world of clinical dietetics at a hospital in Manchester, UK doing one of the things I love most- parenteral and enteral nutrition (feeding via tubes and intravenously for patients who are unable to eat orally). I enjoy working with numbers and creating tools and resources to allow me to that work more efficiently day to day.

Prior to this, I was in London working in another area I’m passionate about - Mental Health. Whether it is those suffering with low mood to depression/ anxiety, I enjoy helping individuals implement dietary methods which may alleviate some of these stresses.

I also love inspiring others to improve their diet and fitness. I can help you achieve your goals whether it be performance or weight related.

fun facts

1) Dogs: I’m a massive dog-lover and all-around animal lover! My rescue dog Amaya has more Instagram followers than me. Her happiness reminds me daily to find joy in the simplest of things. Find her at: https://www.instagram.com/amaya_to_the_rescue/

2) Running: Running has been a big part of my life. I’ve completed running races around the world including the Gold Coast marathon in Australia, multiple 1/2 marathons in California, a 20 person Welsh Castles Relay race, and an epic Santa Run along Wellington Harbour, New Zealand! I’m a bit more of a casual runner now, but always on the lookout for fun ways to keep active on a regular basis.

3) Dietetics: I completed my dietetics training in wine country Napa, California and am now an accredited dietitian in two countries- the USA and UK.
